Today was a pretty cruisy lazy day - I went up the shops this morning, soooo happy to finally have 7 day trading here, makes it easier - Picked up a few things i needed, wanted chocolate real bad, couldn't find a small stick of the dark stuff - so i didn't get any!!! Had a choc brownie type thing instead - YAY go me... Been so good all weekends, feels a lot better than previous weeks - phew!

I was really excited to get into my workout this afternoon, maybe because i had been lazy all day, or maybe I'm just starting to enjoy it - Anyways i did week 3, workout 2 of the C25K and managed it easily - then i did some steps and weights. Fun Fun, had a lovely sweet and sour pork dish with rice for dinner - mMmMmMm

More about the C25K - Basically The idea is to transform you from couch potato to runner, getting you running 5K on a regular basis in just two months, its worked so you gradually increase your distance, doing the workouts each week, outlined by the pros! Ya pretty much ( well so far for me anyways) Do the same workout, 3 times a week, making sure to rest in between days.

Week 1
Brisk five-minute warm up walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes.
Week 2
Brisk five-minute warm up walk. Then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two minutes of walking for a total of 20 minutes.
Week 3
Brisk five-minute warm up walk, then do two repetitions of the following:
Jog 90 seconds
Walk 90 seconds
Jog 3 minutes
Walk 3 minutes


I have done week 3, twice now, will do that again on Tuesday, and then move onto week 4. Will post more about week 4 as we get there.
